A gallery or museum exhibition dedicated to one’s life work is one thing, but to have a ballet constructed in your honour is pure deification (rightfully so.) Gianni Versace was recently honored by French choreographer and close friend Maurice Bejart. Bejart put together a ballet titled: “Grazie Gianni Con Amore” (Thank you Gianni with love) to honour the designer as this year marks the 10th anniversary of his death. Nearly 1,500 guests attended the Milan event including Karl Lagerfeld, Jessica Alba and Naomi Campbell among other superduper models and celebrities. Donatella arrived with daughter Allegra Versace who was reportedly looking in much better shape after a recent battle with anorexia.
