Sisley ad

In my scroll through autumn campaigns and other juicy/non juicy fashion tidbits, I came across the new campaign for Italian brand Sisley. Needless to say many have been outraged saying that the brand has reached an all time low (or should we say “high” based on the nature of the images?) Given the sensitive state the fashion industry is in (age bands, size zero debates etc…) I must say this is definitely a rather bold statement. Is the campaign enough to kill the brand? Probably not. But if it did can’t you see the headline: SISLEY OVERDOSES ON IT’S OWN SELF IMAGE. Do you think it’s crossing the line?

I definitely don’t think it’s crossing the line. It’s a somewhat fun play on drugs. Something that we take way too seriously in my opinion.

It’s a great ad. Normally I would rail against over the top drug use, but it’s cool because artistically they’re doing soemthing different.

I wonder if the ad is really real though.

This is a bit much. Creativity is one thing, they’re encouraging drug use in an industry where it is already a problem
