Once upon a time Linda Evangelista (and her other cohorts) didn’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day. This was in 1990. So let’s calculate shall we: $10,000 x 365 days = $3,650,000. Though in 2007 supermodel extraordinaire Gisele Bundchen, 26, struts circles around the competition of both today and eras past. She recently topped Forbes magazine’s Top-Earning Models List.
Oh, and how much is she making you ask?

$ 33 million.
She trumps Kate Moss (who comes in second with $9 million), along with Heidi Klum ($8 million), Adriana Lima ($6 million) and Alessandra Ambrosio ($6 million) . But before some of us get our knickers in a twist and wail about how models make too much damn money, remember that only a small percent pull this type of income. Let us remember the many models galloping the catwalks every season, making a decent amount of money/publicity, then fading into obscurity. Years ago I thought Laeticia Casta would be where Gisele is now. Where is she by the way?
