Ashley Isham – London Fashion Week Spring 2008
Well fashionista’s and nisto’s (because men love fashion just as much as the ladies), Ashley Isham has done it again. Letting the clothes do the talking and the simple setting of the runway being just white steps amongst ‘lily’ pools of water. Isham’s Spring/Summer ‘08 collection began with calm colors of white, black, and a soft pewter displayed on looks from impeccable tailored coasts to short suits to white crisp tube and shirt dresses to new millenium jersey dresses reminiscent of what Bianca Jagger may have rocked had Studio 54 been…now. However, after a few moments of tranquility the collection exploded with color combinations of red and purple, black and blue, multi-metallic colors in various looks amongst silk gowns that were draped to perfection providing the texture of milk pouring in a glass. The finale ended with a selection of forward looks in red, purple, black, and blue designs, which certainly gave Spring/Summer ‘08 something to futuristically look forward too.

Love the overhead photos, gives a different perspective. Ashley Isham is amazing as well the low v-neck dress is a favorite, I wasn’t crazy when the designer went all colorful, but the aesthetic is very cool.
