Kulture2Couture at the V&A, London

November 19, 2007

Kulture2Couture is an annual fashion event held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, to showcase and promote talented black designers that are often overlooked in the fashion industry.

As well as fashion shows the event also has classes, workshops and seminars with information and advice for all people trying to further their careers within the fashion industry.

“Kulture2Couture is a strategy not an event. It is part of an important journey and process of showcasing and acknowledging, championing, and paying tribute to the cultural, creative and inspiring talents and contributions of African and Caribbean designers to the fashion industry.” –Damon Dash, K2C Ambassador

The Ipapier team was there & we will be posting galleries all this week showcasing the 17 designers involved in K2C 2007.
