Lanvin Takes Paris Fashion Week…in Total

Alber Elbaz decided that he was not going to let fashion week in Paris end without stealing the whole thing. His collection for Lanvin demonstrated a mastery all his own once again. Melding a good heaping of the major themes seen throughout Paris fashion week Elbaz went a step further and made Lanvin the collection of fashion week. Laura Gilbert of Elle Uk put it this way:

Elbaz sent a masterclass in wearable and versatile yet incredibly beautiful cocktail dresses, chic suiting and striking embellished evening wear down the catwalk. Think Alexis Colby in Dynasty meets Robert Palmer’s backing singers in the 1986 video for ‘Addicted to Love’.
