Designer Eriko Isoya got fall right in so many different ways it’s hard not to be thoroughly impressed. It’s also hard not to want to get on a plane and fly as fast as possible to Tokyo. The Autumn/Winter 08 collection was simply one of the top collections so far at Japan Fashion Week. What’s really striking in addition to the sleek look of the line and the stockings with sandals trend (that’s filtering into the fall), is the beehive hairdos taken to another level. I’m thinking that this was Amy Winehouse inspired similar to Lagerfeld’s muse comment not so long ago, but this spread out beehive set the whole collection off. More photos from the collection.
