You have to love it when a designer can simply name their collection a color and get away with it. There’s so much confidence in the line that by calling it White even though it may get confused with a million other white things, it is simply your clothing line. White is making it’s debut in Australia. As a result of this debut, the Australian press is apparently tripping over themselves in generous praise of the collection. Upon seeing some of the photos from the Autumn/Winter collection it’s not hard to see why they love it. The classical styling is reminiscent of a grungier St. John, that’s used for lack of a better term. The Age describes the line:

The range is characterised by classical cuts with a modern twist in the detailing.
A fetish for outsize buttons, collars and cuffs, slimline tailoring and power suit pinstripes lend the label an edgy elegance that travels from boardroom to bar with nothing more needed than a fresh coat of lippy.

Pricepoints start at $400 Australian Dollars and up. See the story here.
